Purchasing a ticket to Onward Summit means you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Your registration is non-refundable once purchased.
Cancellations of your travel and/or hotel reservations are your responsibility.
If you are unable to be present for any dinner, activity, speaker presentation, etc., partial refunds (or other compensation) will not be given — for example, if you cannot attend the dinner or activities on the first day/evening, arrive late, or need to leave the Summit early.
We know things happen that mean you can't attend. Because we don't refund tickets, we allow you to transfer your ticket to another person (a friend or colleague). Note: we will not facilitate the sale of your ticket to another person.
Ticket changes cost time that we have less of the closer we get to the event. So all changes more than 4 weeks before an event are free; changes after that date cost $20. We are not able to transfer your registration after a certain date, so please let us know as soon as possible if you can't attend. Name changes within 7 days of an event cannot be made. Transfer details must be sent to [email protected] as soon as possible.
If you are no longer able to use your ticket and don't want to (or can't) transfer it, we'd be happy to give you an Onward Voucher — equal to the amount you paid — toward the next Onward Summit.
All speakers, sponsors, and attendees must agree to abide by our code of conduct. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior must immediately comply. If a participant engages in any of the behavior described in the code of conduct, we may take any action we deem appropriate, from warning the offender to immediately expelling them from Onward Summit with no refund.
The organizers can change the date of the event or cancel it due to low registration numbers or any other unforeseen circumstance. If the event is canceled, any registered attendee will be given the option of an Onward Voucher or a refund of the full registration fee.
Further claims against the organizer are not possible. We cannot refund travel, accommodation, or any other expenses incurred in relation to the event.
We work hard to ensure the speakers and schedule we advertise are correct, and we update them as soon as we're aware of any change. However, life events aren't always in our control, so the speakers and schedule are subject to change without notice. If a speaker is unable to give a talk, the organizer has the right to find an adequate replacement.
The ticket price for the conference does not cover any travel or accommodation. Tickets are sold separately. Only one attendee is admitted per ticket (for both on- and off-site events).
Redemption limit: only one coupon code can be redeemed per ticket.
Non-compound offers: certain purchases and/or promotions include a coupon for Onward Summit. Please note that these coupons do not compound. Regardless of the number of promotions you qualified for, you can only redeem one coupon code.
Please contact us if you want to attend the conference and have any special requirements, such as wheelchair access. We will do our very best to accommodate you.
We take photos and videos at our events, and you may be included in them. With your registration, you grant us the right to use such material taken over the days. Quotes given in interviews, on social media, or on our feedback forms may be used for future event marketing (fully credited wherever possible, of course).
If you don't want a photo on which you're recognizable to be online, please let us know and we'll take it offline.
If you take photos, we're glad you want to share them with other attendees — let us know where to find them so we can spread the word, and please include the hashtag #onwardsummit.
Video and sound recording of any session, talk, presentation, or workshop at the event is not permitted unless permission is given by the organizer.
All material is owned by the speaker or workshop leader. Most speakers make their slides and other material fully available after their talk. If a speaker or workshop leader provides material for attendees only, please do not share it more widely. If you're unsure, ask the speaker or email [email protected].
